What the Cloward-Piven Strategy Entails

The Cloward-Piven strategy, undoubtedly well-known by Obama and his Alinsky-allied cohorts is to so overload the system that capitalism collapses and then replace it with a socialist one. Obama has worked hard to overload the system with bill after bill that he insists Congress enact rapidly without reading: stimulus, medical reform, cap and trade. . . . All of these together threaten hyper-inflation such as in the Weimar republic in which, literally, it took a wheel-barrow of German Marks to buy a loaf of bread. As Lenin said: “the best way to destroy a capitalistic society is to debauch its currency.” 

Obama Civilian National Security Force       

When a country is threatened with economic ruin, extreme public unrest is likely to follow. Surely Alinskyites knew that. That in turn would provide an excuse to impose martial law. And  that would require the means to enforce it. Alinskyites and Obama would likely have foreseen that* and this could have led Obama  to speak of the need of a Civilian National Security Force just as strong as our military -- as well-funded as the military.**

As Glenn Beck notes, such a civilian force would not be used to defend the border, the minute men who the left considers vigilantes do that. And the left considers it politically incorrect to admit that we still have a war on terror. To Obama, it’s an “overseas contingency operation” so a civilian force has no such function here within our country.

By Their Fruits Ye Shall Know Them

It should be no secret to anyone who reads or hears from other than the main-stream media that Obama and his gang are far leftists. Before the election, it was said to be unfair to judge him of guilt by association although his associations with communists, domestic terrorists and America-haters were known. And “birds of a feather gather together.” But from his acts as president, we have more than ample evidence to know him now: “by their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”

He has chosen avowed communists, domestic terrorists and haters of capitalism and America as his advisors either as czars or through official appointment – not to mention out-and-out crooks and tax evaders. His words and actions have unfailingly been anti-capitalist and communistic and against the America that preceded him.

He has almost universally bad-mouthed capitalistic institutions, nationalized General Motors and, with questionable authority, fired the original GM chief executive.

He has apologized on foreign soil all over the world for an America that has given more to the world and liberated more people, including Muslims, than any country in world history.

He and his administration have sided with the communist dictator Chavez in favor of the former president of Honduras who has been deposed for attempting to get Castro-like power by violating that country’s democratic constitution.

Because of Russian opposition, he has reportedly dropped providing missile defense systems to Eastern Europe despite his earlier promises, further discrediting and weakening America and further exhibiting that his word means nothing (along with such as promising not to probe national intelligence actions during the previous administration and pledging to stay within the public financing system during his campaign for president).

He has bowed to an Arab king and tried to force Israel to make even more concessions to Palestinians and Arab states although there has been and continues to be no reciprococity for past concessions. Israel’s neighbors generally deny its right to even exist and pledge its destruction.

He has essentially stripped us of our ability to interrogate enemy combatants including wanting to give them Miranda rights. He has emasculated our intelligence gathering institutions, endangering us by putting us in our pre-9/11 stance when we were attacked without provocation.

His appointed, and under his control, “Justice” department head, Holder, has appointed a special prosecutor to investigate previously cleared CIA interrogators whose honor, savings and homes may be lost in fighting criminal charges while refusing to prosecute, despite his own department’s Civil Rights Division outrage, Black Panther thugs, one armed with a nightstick, in threatening military dress who were photographed and heard intimidating voters at a Philadelphia election booth.

Sinister Historical Precedents

Based on historical precedents, others of his and his supporters goals are sinister. They seek a militaristic civilian force reminiscent of German brown-shirts and Hitler Youth, they seek to disarm us as the German National Socialists (Nazi’s) did before exterminating more than six million Jews (not to mention millions exterminated after disarmanent in Soviet Russia, China, Cambodia, Guatamela, Uganda and Armenia), and they seek to suppress freedom of the press and free speech.

Radical Changes to America Irreversible?

His policy of pressing his completely own-party-controlled government to pass laws without adequate debate, even unread, coupled with his actions to assemble unprecedented power in America’s executive branch may make his changes from the America that I loved irreversible.

He and his fellow travelers have done everything imaginable to ensure their re-election from shamelessly favoring unions to the extent of putting the UAW whose past actions were most responsible for the GM bankruptcy on the GM board, protecting trial lawyers by not even considering tort reform in their health “reform”plans and bowing to the teachers union by such as closing the acclaimed highly successful Washington D.C. charter school, the one bright spot in the otherwise dismally failed $15,000 per student D.C. system.

In addition they have legislated immense amounts of our money via their “stimulus” plan to ACORN (the discredited organization with which Obama was extensively involved in a long-time association as a self proclaimed “community organizer,” head legal counsel and trainer -- the “CO” stands for community organizations) and similar organizations that, with immense questionable contributions and our tax money, corrupted our election system to the extent they may have been somewhat responsible for putting them in office in the last election.  

All this with a widened dependent class and the illusion of a stock market recovery, as measured in incredibly cheapened U.S. dollars, may be enough to put them back in office and continue them in office indefinitely despite Obama’s persistent sheer wrong-headedness in pushing measures opposed by the majority of the electorate -- such as pressing for government payments for abortions and requiring them done by doctors who morally oppose doing them. And we can’t forget his so-called charisma, beautiful smile and teleprompter speech eloquence – apparently all he lacks is a dimpled chin and cheeks.

It may be too late already and it may be too long to wait until the next election, unless a coalition of Republican and “blue dog” Democrat Senators stop all further legislation that is not absolutely necessary until then.
